Jamie Barsimantov has been playing and singing Sephardic music for over a decade on oud and clarinet. His parents emigrated from Turkey in the 60s, at around the same time that his grandfather became the hazan at a Turkish synagogue in Israel. For Jamie, Sephardic music has been both an anchor to his family’s origins and an inspiration to play and perform.

Michelle Alany has delighted and wowed audiences worldwide. Scott is a New Orleans-based guitarist and composer who has lived in Spain in 2019-2021, and has toured nationally and internationally with diverse musical projects playing Sephardic music, traditional New Orleans swing, Brazilian Choro, American and European folk music, and free improvisation. His projects and compositions have been heard at the Monterey Jazz Festival, the Portland Jazz Festival, Symbiosis, Lightning in a Bottle, Woven Festival in Tokyo and Salinas Valley State Prison where he taught music for 3 years. Aharon studied tabla and ragas with the masters Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri and Ustad Ali Akbar Khan.
